House Church

With these emails, my goal is to connect, inform and include you in everything that’s happening in our Church. There are lots of ways to connect at the House

One More Week: Sunday on Zoom

Wow! Zoom church has been awesome this month! So many are logging on and it makes it feel like “real church!” Join me for one more service like that, this Sunday, before we go back to in-person church. The church is still a mess from the building repairs following the water line breakage, but we should be good to go back next Sunday.

HCT Secure Directory App

Together we have blessed and touched so many of our own families through their time of sickness and missing work. I love how this church shows up for people. The easiest way to connect to everyone is through our secure directory app: www.instantchurchdirectory.com/app - download the app and login with your email.  A little TLC and a heartfelt prayer goes a long way for people isolated or in quarantine.

The Main App: Daily Devotional

I invite you to read my daily devotional blog this month. My hope is that it will inspire and support you on your unique spiritual journey. You can find it on our website or by downloading the main church app to your phone and read them that way over breakfast or lunch!  https://tithely.app.link/house-church-tulsa  I think they will be a blessing to you. Let me know if you’d like me to write on a particular subject - I’m happy to include your request in my schedule of topics.

Hospitality Ministry

Get on the list of folks who are “in the know” and able to leap into action to serve. Pastor Heid is in charge and makes sure that people get meals, love, prayer, and care when going through surgeries, life changes, sickness and celebrations! Contact Heidi (918-902-1930) to be on her team to share the love and care that this ministry is all about.

Final Thoughts

We are calling 2022 “The Year of our Resurrections!” - and that phrase is coming to life for me, personally, as I become more aware of how the Spirit is working deeply in our lives. It’s wild to wake up to new truth, and to become more aware of how much God is with us in everything.

As a leader, it’s my joy to hold the sign for hope and beckon you to follow me on the path forward. I have a great sense of expectancy about 2022 even though we’ve been a little delayed by sickness and building troubles.

I have an excitement in my spirit that didn’t come from me - I mean, I really didn’t give it to myself, lol! It was given to me by grace and I happily receive it because it is far more energetic than I could be these days, post-Covid! Some of you can relate. It’s a Spirit-thing that is happening in me, and in so many of you -  and so I say, “YES!” to this!

Is something happening in you, too? Do you sense a stirring, or a prompting for something more? Do you feel differently than you did this time last year? I realize so much has changed for all of us during the pandemic, and for many recently, we’ve rounded a corner - spiritually and otherwise, things are different and I am willing and committed to continue following the Spirit down this new road.

We are being resurrected this year. And it’s really not about an individual striving or trying harder, but rather it is more resting and trusting in the One who is so very capable of redeeming time and creating something brand new with us.
House Church is a spiritual hub for many. It's a spiritual homebase. We have been covering you all in prayers of healing, peace, and hope, and I want to encourage you to pray for one another - I can’t emphasize it enough. Our agreement together changes the atmosphere in our homes, our communities, and our cities.

Announcements and Thank Yous

  • House Church will be on Zoom this Sunday again at 10:30 am.

  • Thanks for your generosity to keep the ministry financially healthy! We are able to keep the bills paid and give hospitably to those in need inside and outside our church. Together we bless so many lives. The ministry and message of our church will outlive the pandemic for generations to come!

  • Coffee & Theology (CAT) Wednesdays at 8am. Recordings available on the app afterward. This is a time to get deep with spiritual concepts and ask difficult questions. Video call link: https://meet.google.com/iwe-peof-oex

  • Download our church app to access everything (including zoom links for services, which are the same every time) past service recordings including CAT, and you can give from there, too. Be sure to check out the “Audios” and the “Daily Devo” section of the app:https://tithely.app.link/house-church-tulsa

I hope to be with you on Zoom this Sunday.
It’s so uplifting to be together, and your presence matters a lot to the overall experience for all of us!

See you Sunday morning.
Love Insists,
Pastor Bonnie
