Always Speaking

Part of my job is to verify benefit insurance information for our patients.  In my attempt to gather that information today, I was put through a series of recorded messages that would not allow me the option to speak to a customer service advocate.  It seemed as though I had been caught in an eternal loop of number after number that was incorrect and no REAL person to speak to! Can you feel my frustration?!

While on hold, I happened to pick up my phone and read the following post made by one of my friends, because what else do you do when you are on hold except check Facebook?

I found this post to be absolute confirmation that God is always speaking to me right where I am, even in the middle of almost having a meltdown, I read the following:

“Patience above all else, is what is needed right now.  Do not let anxiousness or frustration take over. Conditions on the exterior of your experience will change, but your highest benefit will be achieved when conditions in your interior remain the same. Hold to your inner peace. Reclaim your identity. Trust your higher wisdom. Look to the grander vision.” ~ Neale Donald Walsch

I have never heard of this writer but God spoke to me through him. How awesome is that?!

Listen and you will hear him speaking to you.

Much Love,

Capacity to Receive

Sarah Ban Breathnach writes: “Whatever we are waiting for…it will surely come to us, but only when we are ready to receive it with an open and grateful heart.”

We can’t expect things to manifest in our life when we don’t have the capacity to receive them.
In order to have capacity we have to be open and that requires letting go of things that take up space.
Things that are no longer working for us or things that are holding us back. People who keep us from our destiny and the divine plan that’s in place for us.  What’s limiting your capacity to receive today? Cast it on The Lord and receive the love, provision, grace, healing and amazing life He has for you.

Faithful Love

Margret Ruth Baker writes of the love of God: “The love of God is a beautiful experience and a sure possession.”

The question I have for all of us today is, have we experienced the love of God and made it our possession?

It’s strange to think of the love of God as our possession but the truth is, he desires for it to be just that. He gave His greatest possession, Jesus, so that we could in turn posses his unfailing, trustworthy, beautiful, constant and consistent love.

His love is not something that is deserved or earned, we simply believe that it is and receive it by faith. We have to forget the pain and suffering, sorrow and wounds given by mere human love and receive his faithful and trustworthy love.

We cannot give what we don’t possess. Jesus said in John 13:34, “…love one another as I have loved you.”

In order for us to give love in this way we have to receive it first. Many would say, “I have the love of God,” and I would say that the way we know we have the love of God is in the way we SHOW this love to others.

I encourage you today to search your heart, is the love of God your very own possession? And if so, how can you share His love in even more meaningful ways?
